Ministry Sewing
We love to use our talents and passions for service to others. Many of our members have been touched by someone in
their family or friends who has had a preemie. This has led to an ongoing involvement with Newborns in Need, sewing and
knitting items that are donated to preemies through hospitals in West Michigan.
An opportunity to make surgery hats for children facing surgery at DeVos Children's Hospital was presented to our
group. We have a goal of 100 hats a month. Children have no choice regarding whether they want surgery or not, but they can
choose which hat they would like to wear!
