Anchor Baptist Church Nursing Home Ministry
Anchor began its involvement with Crestview Manor Nursing Home, located on 36th Street, in 1994. Our church is in rotation with other churches and is responsible for the fourth Sunday of the month. Joe Motley, one of our deacons, has been primarily responsible for preaching a message from the Bible. Dan Spears, Worship Minister, has been leading those who gather in singing of great old hymns of the faith. Our church members have been involved over the years in singing carols through the halls, attending the worship service, and greeting those who attend services.
